Filaments.ca has always striven to be in the forefront of 3D printing materials in order to bring our customers the latest and most innovative 3D printer consumables from around the world. As such, we are proud to announce that we have officially teamed up with 3DomFuel, the North American and European manufacturer of 3D-Fuel filaments, to bring you this Advanced PLA+ filament (APLA+)!
Advanced PLA+ (APLA+) has higher impact strength than ABS and PLA with a heat resistance rivaling that of ABS! New Advanced PLA+ will help your 3D printed projects look amazing and perform amazing.
Anneal your design after 3D printing for even better heat & impact resistance. (see bottom of page for annealing instructions)
Our High Impact Engineering APLA+ Formulation Offers Heat and Impact Resistance Rivaling ABS! Processes and Prints with the Ease of PLA!
This filament will give you the opportunity to expand into industrial prototyping with a unique, cost effective product with superior overall quality, printability, and part performance.
APLA+ was developed to meet the growing demand by industrial companies for a material that combines the properties of ABS and the printability of PLA. Parts produced with APLA+ exceed ABS 3D parts in impact strength and, with post-print annealing, rival ABS heat resistance!
APLA+ was designed specifically for the impact strength required in industrial applications.
The new APLA+ boasts 4.3 times impact strength levels of PLA. Even before post-processing, APLA+ exhibits significantly higher impact strength than ABS. A post-print annealing process will crystallize the materials and provide additional heat and impact properties.
APLA+ is NatureWorks’ Ingeo™ certified, meaning the filament has passed a defined set of tests to assure the quality of the product.
- Faster crystallization rates which allows for increased printing speeds
- Enhanced toughness
- Improved heat-resistance
- Annealable for even better impact & heat resistance
- High resolution printing
- Good adhesion to build plates
- Reduced warping & curling
- Low odor
Not all manufacturers are created equal; As one of only 9 global filament suppliers officially recommended by the NatureWorks 3D printing suppliers guide, you can rest assured that this specific high impact PLA filament was produced by a world-class, high quality materials manufacturer.
3D-Fuel 3D printer filament is manufactured to demanding performance specifications and has proven filament precision! 3D printer filament from 3D-Fuel is of excellent dimensional tolerances. We don’t just say our filament is precise, we show that our filament is precise... Every spool has the diameter and ovality measurements listed right on the box!
