EconoFil™ PLA Matte Filament - Print Settings
EconoFil™ Matte PLA Printing Temperature: 200°C – 230°C
* Settings may vary depending on your printer, enclosure, cooling fans, etc. We recommend performing a test print first when using a roll for the first time.
- EconoFil Matte PLA should be printed with a heated print bed set to 60°C – 80°C.
- A good quality glue stick should be used for proper bed adhesion on most bed surfaces.
- Matte PLA may require slightly higher temperatures than standard PLA for optimal layer adhesion. Start at 210°C and adjust as needed.
- If warping or stringing occurs, please lower your printing temperature. EconoFil Matte PLA can be printed as low as 195°C if needed.
- If excessive stringing occurs, the materials may need to be dried in a dehydrator.
- First layer nozzle temperature usually 5°C–10°C higher than subsequent layers.
- Print speeds of 40–60 mm/s are recommended to preserve the matte surface finish.
